Francesc Prior Sanz has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and in academia, both nationally and internationally. He has extensive experience as a professor of banking and finance and as a researcher specialised in Digital Financial Services. He was the Director of the Financial Inclusiveness Research and Training Program at Florida International University, and Principal Researcher in the “Banking the unbanked program” at IESE Business School, Barcelona. Later, he served as a professor of banking and finance at UIC Barcelona leading the Venture Financing Initiative. Currently, he serves as a professor of Finance at IQS School of Management, Universitat Ramon Llull, Barcelona. He has published research articles in academic journals, such as Financial Innovation, the Journal of Business Ethics and Business Ethics: A European Review.
Francesc Martori is a professor at IQS School of Management-Universitat Ramon Llull in Barcelona. He has experience teaching Computer Science and Systems, Econometrics, and Data Analytics. Currently, he is teaching Data Science for Business and Statistics within the BBA program. In 2014-15, he served as a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University, where he conducted research on Big Data in Education as part of the Lytics Lab. From 2018 to 2021, he held the position of Head of Data Science at a big data startup. He has authored over 15 research articles published in academic journals and conferences, focusing on quantitative and statistics-related areas.
Mónica Martinez-Blasco is a full professor at IQS School of Management-Universitat Ramon Llull, Barcelona. She teaches Principles of Accounting and Applied Corporate Finance in the BBA and an Advanced Accounting Topics course in the master’s degree in Auditing. She completed her Ph.D. in Business Administration at Universitat Ramon Llull in 2004 and spent one year as a post-doctoral fellow at Carroll School of Management-Boston College. Her research interests include corporate governance and financial innovation. She has contributed to several book chapters in Spanish and English and has published research articles in academic journals such as Financial Innovation, European Accounting Review, Journal of Management and Governance, and European Management Review.
