Mihály Tamás Borsi is an empirical macroeconomist with expertise in economic growth & policy and applied econometrics. He is an accredited Associate Professor of Economics at Universitat Ramon Llull, IQS School of Management. He completed his PhD in Quantitative Economics at Universidad de Alicante in 2015 and held visiting positions at the central banks of Germany and Hungary as well as at Paris School of Economics. His research focuses on a wide spectrum of social and economic matters, including growth and economic convergence, poverty and inequality, and the economy of China. He has actively participated in research projects over the years and the results of his works have been disseminated at numerous conferences and published in SSCI-JCR journals, including Empirical Economics, China Economic Review, Journal of Macroeconomics, and Regional Studies.
