Rallou Taratori is a dedicated researcher and scholar, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Business and Territorial Competitiveness, Innovation, and Sustainability at IQS School of Management, Universitat Ramon Llull in Barcelona, Spain. She is deeply passionate about her topic, which revolves around Sustainable Development Goals and the Leave No One Behind (LNOB) principle of the UN. Throughout her PhD, she will attempt to operationalize this principle based on philosophical doctrines of fairness and justice. She earned an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's double Degree (EMJMD) in Smart Cities and Communities and Mechanical Engineering, where she specialized in Sustainable Urban Planning, Energy, and Mobility, graduating with honors and distinction. Her master thesis aimed to boost smart and sustainable city development via smart organizational mechanisms for collaborative ecosystem and had a focus on Quintuple Helix Models of cooperation for socio-ecological transitions. Prior to her master's, she earned a Bachelor's and Master's Diploma in Rural & Surveying Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, consistently performing at a high level. Her research interests span sustainable development, social inclusion, fairness and justice, socio-ecological ecosystems, community engagement and smart governance, reflected in her publications and presentations at international conferences. Rallou has also contributed to the academic community as an ad-hoc reviewer for reputable journals and conferences. She has reviewed research in fields related to smart governance, N-Helix Models, and collaborative (eco)systems. Her overall academic journey reflects her commitment to exploring innovative approaches to addressing contemporary challenges.
