Professor Jill Jameson is Professor of Education, Chair, Leadership Research Cluster, and Practice Lead, Institute for Lifecourse Development (ILD), Faculty of Education, Health and Human Sciences, University of Greenwich, Visiting Fellow (2018) and Associate (2018-24), Lucy Cavendish College, University of Cambridge and the Cambridge Educational Dialogues Research Group, Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge. Chair of the International Review Panel, Research Council for Culture and Society, Academy of Finland (2022-23), Jill was also Chair of the Society for Research into Higher Education (2012-17), and Convenor, Ed Tech SIG, British Educational Research Association. She has published widely in educational leadership, trust, Ed Tech, post-compulsory, and higher education. She is editor/author within several Special Editions of the British Journal of Educational Technology (BJET, 2006-19), Global Leadership in Higher Education (2019, Routledge), and the OXCHEPs Series book: International Studies on Higher Education: Critical Thinking for Global Challenges, University of Oxford/Routledge. Born in Zimbabwe, Jill’s educational research for the ILD is dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable people, working towards UN Sustainability Goals 1,4, 10 and 16.
