Cristina Montañola Sales es ingeniera informática y doctora en Estadística e Investigación Operativa por la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - BarcelonaTech. Actualmente es profesora contratada doctora en el Instituto Químico de Sarrià de la Universitat Ramón Llull (IQS-URL). Su investigación se centra en el desarrollo y aplicación de nuevos métodos cuantitativos para explorar el comportamiento humano utilizando un marco evolutivo, empleando técnicas de investigación operativa e inteligencia artificial como la simulación basada en agentes, la computación paralela y el análisis espacio-temporal para explorar la emergencia de interacción social. Ha trabajado con varios grupos de investigación internacionales y ha publicado numerosos artículos científicos en revistas y conferencias internacionales.
Juan Albacete Maza es pedagogo y doctor cum laude en Ciencias de la Educación, con mención internacional, por la Universidad de Granada. Su tesis doctoral y publicaciones académicas se han enfocado en la educación para la muerte y lo trágico a través de la música popular española. Ha realizado investigaciones en colaboración con universidades europeas, incluyendo una estancia de investigación en la Universidad de Palermo y participación en el proyecto europeo H2020 "Mental Health Monitoring through Interactive Conversations" en Belfast (Reino Unido). Actualmente realiza un posdoctorado en la School of Management del Instituto Químico de Sarriá (URL) abordando el tópico de la aporofobia.
Francesc Martori is a professor at IQS School of Management-Universitat Ramon Llull in Barcelona. He has experience teaching Computer Science and Systems, Econometrics, and Data Analytics. Currently, he is teaching Data Science for Business and Statistics within the BBA program. In 2014-15, he served as a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University, where he conducted research on Big Data in Education as part of the Lytics Lab. From 2018 to 2021, he held the position of Head of Data Science at a big data startup. He has authored over 15 research articles published in academic journals and conferences, focusing on quantitative and statistics-related areas.
Dr Comim holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Cambridge (1998), a Postdoc from Harvard University (2012), and an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge (1994), among other degrees. In his academic work, he lectured at the University of Cambridge for over 15 years and supervised over 20 doctoral theses.
Dr Comim specializes in Development Economics. He has worked for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Brazil and has served as a consultant to other UN agencies, such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
Among other current positions, the new Dean of the IQS School of Management has been the Head of the IQS Department of Ethics and Christian Thought at IQS for the past three years. He is an elected member of the Human Development and Capability Association and a Research Associate at the Von Hügel Institute at Saint Edmund's College, Cambridge. In addition, he has been a Senior Advisor for the “Leaving No One Behind” Programme aligned with the UN 2030 Agenda and the coordinator of the IQS team that advised the Government of Catalonia in drafting its 2023-2026 Plan for International Cooperation.
