Jordi Díaz
Dr Comim holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Cambridge (1998), a Postdoc from Harvard University (2012), and an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge (1994), among other degrees. In his academic work, he lectured at the University of Cambridge for over 15 years and supervised over 20 doctoral theses.
Dr Comim specializes in Development Economics. He has worked for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Brazil and has served as a consultant to other UN agencies, such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
Among other current positions, the new Dean of the IQS School of Management has been the Head of the IQS Department of Ethics and Christian Thought at IQS for the past three years. He is an elected member of the Human Development and Capability Association and a Research Associate at the Von Hügel Institute at Saint Edmund's College, Cambridge. In addition, he has been a Senior Advisor for the “Leaving No One Behind” Programme aligned with the UN 2030 Agenda and the coordinator of the IQS team that advised the Government of Catalonia in drafting its 2023-2026 Plan for International Cooperation.
